This Cookie Policy explains the technologies catq.space uses, who provides them, when they are triggered, how long they remain, and how you can accept, reject, or withdraw optional consent.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Some remain only for the current session. Others stay for a defined period so a website or service can remember a setting or recognise a returning browser. This Policy also covers similar technologies that store or access information on a device.

Consent categories

Essential technologies keep the cart, checkout, account access, security, and consent controls working. Preference technologies remember an explicit visitor choice such as language. Analytics technologies help CatQ understand how an order was referred. Marketing technologies support Reach abandoned-cart follow-up or other promotional activity. Analytics and marketing are off until you choose them.

Essential payment	PayPal	Loaded in the payment flow when PayPal is presented or chosen, for payment, authentication, security, and fraud prevention. What happens before consent

Before you make a choice, catq.space keeps Analytics and Marketing off. The cart, checkout, security, consent controls, the language URL you choose, and PayPal when you choose that payment route remain available. Accepting optional technologies does not subscribe you to email. Newsletter signup has its own unchecked consent box.

Reach abandoned-cart control

Hostinger Reach abandoned-cart and purchase-event tracking are Marketing functions. CatQ blocks the browser script, related server-side WooCommerce cart/email hooks, and the order purchase webhook until Marketing is accepted. The choice is recorded on the order so a later payment callback cannot bypass it. Rejecting or withdrawing Marketing consent prevents new optional Reach tracking. It does not erase a contact or record already lawfully created; email support@catq.space if you also want to request deletion.

Your choices

Use Accept, Reject, or Preferences in the consent panel. You can reopen the panel at any time from Cookie Settings in the footer. Saving Analytics as off removes CatQ’s current sbjs_* attribution cookies. Restricting essential cookies in your browser can prevent the cart, checkout, account, payment, and security functions from working.
